First, obviously, in a FELA claim, when a railroad worker gets injured on the job, his only remedy is suing the railroad – that’s it. But the standards of negligence for a FELA case, a railroad case, is lower than a regular personal injury case. A man or a woman who works for the railroad who is injured on the job, if they’re injured as a direct result of an unsafe condition, they have a case. And there are other examples I can give.
